At school, the students were preparing for the annual science fair. Each student had to choose a topic and create a project. Oliver decided to study volcanoes. He built a model using clay, paint, and a plastic bottle. Inside the bottle, he mixed vinegar and baking soda. When he added red food colouring and poured in the vinegar, the volcano erupted with fizzy lava. His classmates clapped and asked questions. Another student showed how magnets work, and one explained the water cycle. The room was full of posters, experiments, and excited voices. At the end of the day, the teachers gave out certificates. Oliver didn’t win first prize, but he felt proud of his work. 'Science is fun,' he said. 'You get to ask questions and find answers.'
